Fantastic location and the cottage had everything required for a comfortable/relaxing stay.
Rothbury village also had some great shops, which was really helpful.

Well equipped open-plan cottage in a lovely Northumberland village, central to popular tourist locations. Footpath down to the stream was close by which was great for the dogs. Property well equipped for cooking with complementary tea / coffee / milk / soap - enough for 1 night only.
‘Extremely dog friendly’ but asked that they aren’t allowed on soft furnishings. One blanket provided. Property has a concrete ginnel but not garden. Frequency of communication from hosts was too much - but no personalisation such as notifying us of roadworks outside the property where parking would have been.

Great location close to the village centre
It was not particularly clean there was hair all over the carpet.

Location was lovely. Rothbury is lovely village with plenty of places to eat and drink considering its size. Plenty of places to go for walks and about equal distance to either Newcastle or Berwick
The bed wasn't very comfortable just 2 single mattresses put together. There were a few cobwebs on the beams in the bedroom. The holder for the shower head was loose and this meant that the shower head didnt stay in place and had to be held. There was mould around the bottom of the shower tray. In the kitchen one of the frying pans was dirty and looked like the remains of burnt food on it. Also the oven gloves were filthy and either need to be cleaned or replaced.
