Absolutely loved this property. It has everything you need, and is very comfortable. Super Kingsize bed has made us realise we need one 😊 Rothbury town is only small, so almost everything is within walking distance. We especially like the riverside walks and a short drive away you will find Cragside.

Relevant information missing in the property description. It doesn’t state that the apartment is on the first floor. This wasn’t an issue for us, but think it should be noted just in case anyone with difficulties climbing stairs is made aware. Neither does it mention that it has a shared entrance with the lower apartment. Check-in is after 4pm and states not to enter the property before this time, check-out is 10am. This allows 6 hours for cleaning a two bedroomed apartment. I personally think 4 hours is ample time and therefore the check-in/check-out times could be adjusted accordingly. Don’t like the idea of having to strip the bed and hoover before leaving. Luckily we read the information booklet provided otherwise we would not have been aware of this.

The property was cosy, well equipped, and absolutely spotless.

The toilet seat - despite my tightening it up following our arrival - quickly worked loose again i.e. swivelling to left or right. The duvets were rather heavy for us, i.e. much too high a tog-rating for the time of year. The TV had subtitles permanently "on" while the remote didn't have a menu button with which to alter settings.
