About this house rental
Welcome to Paradise Bluff – Your Home Away From Home on Herrington Lake! Our peaceful lakeside retreat is much more spacious than it appears at first glance. With four bedrooms featuring a king bed, queen bed, full bed, bunk bed, and a twin (this bedroom is small!), there’s plenty of room for your group to spread out and relax. Downstairs, you’ll find a second living area with a cozy kitchenette, TV, comfortable seating, and a daybed with a trundle tucked under the stairs—perfect for kids or extra guests. Each floor has its own full bathroom, and there’s also a laundry area for your convenience.
Experience the best of Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail, Horse Country, and lakeside living right here at Paradise Bluff.
The real magic of the property is outdoors. Enjoy sweeping views of Herrington Lake, its dramatic bluffs, and abundant wildlife (including birds) from any of our three outdoor spaces: two spacious decks (one with a propane Blackstone grill) and a covered stone patio off the walkout basement. There’s also a fire pit in the yard—ideal for cool evenings and dark sky stargazing.
Feel free to use our partially covered dock during your stay. You’re welcome to bring your boat and tie it up there. Please note that Herrington Lake sits below high cliffs, and reaching the dock requires climbing about 100 steps. It’s a bit of a trek—but the view and the water make it worth it!
To help you enjoy the lake, we provide complimentary use of life jackets, a paddle board, a canoe, and a kayak. The house has ample parking for your group, parking for 8 or more is no problem.

The Lakehouse was splendid with a breathtaking view. It was cozy and welcoming. The host was great and kind. She responded promptly to our questions. We enjoyed every moment. The amenities were impressive. We highly recommend this house to people looking for a serene place to recharge . Thank you for the memories.

Great visit to the area. Was in town for Easter weekend to visit daughter who is a student at Centre College. House was well stocked and comfortable, commutation with host was prompt and easy. Thanks for rec of Burgin Dairy Barn, it was great!

What a great trip! Jesse was fantasticly communicative and accommodating. The house was awesome with the perfect space for our family of four, an Aunt that joined us, and our puppy! We'll be back!

Clean house, well stocked. Host responsive. Amazing view of the river from the deck. The toilet pump in the basement was a little loud at night.
