Fewos Herrentor in Emden

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist in einer sorgfältigen Art renoviert, wirklich guter handwerklicher Standart, zudem sehr liebevoll dekoriert und die Ausstattung ist wirklich so, dass keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Gefallen hat uns auch das Booklet zur Wohnung, nicht nur schick gemacht vom Layout her, sondern auch sehr informativ. Die Abende auf der kleinen und sehr gemütlichen Terrasse, sehr bequeme Sessel, vernünftig beleuchtet, herrlicher Blick in den sehr schön angelegten kleinen Garten - wunderbar. Wir würden diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder anfragen, wenn es uns nochmal in diese schöne Stadt ziehen sollte. Noch was: direkt an ersten Tag hatte ich Pech mit meinem E-Bike. Der Service der Firma Fahrrad Voß war sehr gut, Herr Voß ist ein kompetenter Meister seines Faches und ruft sehr fair Preise auf, vor allem, wenn ich die Preise hier im Ruhrgebiet dagegen halte. Und die Dame am Empfang war sehr freundlich, hat uns "irgendwie so" dazwischengeschoben - man darf nicht alles glauben, was im Netz geschrieben steht.

Da fällt mir jetzt nichts ein - Moment, lass mich mal überlegen ... ne, wirklich nichts.

Die Wohnung hatte mir sehr gut gefallen und die Lage ist optimal. ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und hatte mich wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Keinen Beanstandung.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Vollständige und moderne Einrichtung.. Schöner Garten und eine tolle Lage etwas außerhalb der Stadt.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe. Gastgeberin problemlos erreichbar.

Die Lampe auf der Terrasse hängt etwas niedrig für große Menschen.

This is a really lovely flat in a quiet part of Emden. The furnishings are new and modern and comfortable, the garden is perfect if you're travelling with dogs (and even if you're not, there are nice places to sit in summer), and the hosts were responsive and kind. I particularly enjoyed the comfy sofa and large bed, and the very new and clean bathroom. There's a nice Italian restaurant close by, and the area in general is suburban and quiet, but still close to big supermarkets. I know other reviewers mention the slope in the flat, but I found that I got used to that very quickly. The apartment is not fully ground-level, so you have to take a handful of steps to enter the apartment from the road or garden. This was absolutely no problem for me, but I'm just mentioning it in case someone has accessibility requirements. The same applies to the cellar, which is where the laundry room is. You'll need to navigate some stairs to use those facilities. It's all well lit and generously proportioned, but still worth a mention. Finally, at the time of my visit, I had to drive up the curb to get to the parking area in front of the house, which my car managed to do - but if you have a low car it might be an issue. The hosts indicated that the lowering of the curb for the parking area has been applied for, and hopefully the municipality will come around to doing that at some point soon. But regardless, there is lots of space for street parking, so parking shouldn't be an issue.
