Villa Aélion Chania

We were delighted when we arrived at the villa. It looked exactly as it did in the photos and immediately exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, Despina the property manager was friendly, responsive and incredibly helpful. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Anna, whose kindness and genuine desire to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay really stood out. The villa itself is spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. With four balconies and plenty of windows, it benefits from a wonderful flow of the fresh Cretan breeze throughout the day. The insect screens fitted to all doors and windows are a thoughtful touch, allowing the windows to remain open at night without any concerns. The kitchen is truly the heart of the home, offering excellent facilities and everything needed for a relaxing stay including the all-important fridge freezer. Overall, this villa provides a fantastic base from which to enjoy this wonderful resort town. Its convenient location, beautiful views across the olive groves and out to the sea, combined with the warm hospitality of both Anna and Despina, made for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We would happily recommend it to others and would love to return ourselves.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that we would have liked a bigger knife to cut the Cretan water melons!!
