About this villa rental
This impressive villa is located 1.5km away from the sandy beach and just 10km away from the city of Chania. The coastal part of Agia Marina is one of the most popular summer destinations not only for the visitors of the island but also for the locals. All the famous beach bars and clubs of Chania are located along the coastal road that links Agia Marina with Platanias. The point where the villa is built offers a magnificent sea and mountain view.
Geana Villa is built on a 3000 sq.m. private property. A big part of this property, as well as the surrounding area, is covered with olive trees, while in front of the villa there is a lawned area. The pool is on the terrace, from where the view is amazing. Sunbeds and garden sets where you can seat and relax are found on this area. Behind the villa there are a barbecue and a traditional stone oven.
Geana Villa consists of three floors and an attic. Few stairs lead from the main entrance door to a beautiful decorated living room and an open plan kitchen. French doors open to the terrace and the pool. On the same floor there are a double bedroom and a bathroom. Stairs lead to the upper floor where two twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are found. Each bedroom has two balconies – one north facing and one south facing. On the attic with the vaulted ceiling there is a corner sofa, where 2 adults can comfortably sleep. Two verandas and a bathroom complete this floor.
The lower floor is quite independent. It consists of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms – one double and one twin - and two bathrooms – one of them en-suite to the twin bedroom. French doors lead from the living room, the kitchen and the double bedroom to the lawned garden.

We stayed at the Geana Villa for one week and didn't want to leave, it was heaven! The villa sat a top mountain with beautiful views of the Mediterranean and surrounding terrain. Orchards of olive trees surround you as the cool mountain breeze naturally air conditions area throughout the day.
The amenities and furnishing of the house was truly 5 star and we could asking for anything more. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything to you would need to make dinner and outside was a great wood fire BBQ to make some truly delicious feasts.
We found that the local tavernas off the main strip had best the prices, great food and excellent atmosphere as we danced and drank RAKI through out the night with restaurant owners.
The surrounding towns of Agia Marina and Platanas had young hip beaches, plenty of shops and clubs to keep us interested through our stay. We spent plenty of time at villa mercedes off of the main strip, which is a constant beach party. Mercedes has great beachfront service for drinks and food, not mention a DJ playing some great tunes as we relaxed on the beach. The water at the beach was extremely warm Agia Marina opposed to some of the other beaches we went to on West side of the island.
It is definitely worth getting some transportation to check out some of the other beaches on the island. Not to mention it is a long walk from the villa to main strip so a car or motorcycles are definitely advised. There are plenty of local renal shops for
