Casina del Giuggiolo

It was great to have a washing machine, for non Italians the hanging of washing was a bit of an adventure! Parking was nearby in the white lines so free. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The bed was on the firm side and would benefit from some extra pillows. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom.

I think the kitchen needs some work, the microwave is tiny and not very powerful, so either the oven needs to work or a better sized microwave. There is very little supplies with the kitchen, no pepper or oil which is quite often in a kitchen. The main drawback was although this apartment is 500m from the old city it is the most enormous, steep hill that brings you to the entrance of the city, the walking in Siena is steep and it's a big city to walk around. After one walk up that hill we took our car to the Duomo parking and paid to avoid it again. It's summer and Italy is very hot.
