Margherita suites - City center

Localização ótima, 3 quadras do centro histórico. Ótimas instalações, no 7° andar, prédio com elevador. Tudo novo, bem conservado em apartamento espaçoso e com pé direito alto. Ar-condicionado funciona super bem e venezianas automatizadas na janela! Lençóis excelentes, limpos e bem passados. Limpeza em geral excelente.

Em geral tudo ótimo. Um detalhe a saber: depositar as bagagens após o check-out por 5 horas custa 4 euros/ mala.

Apartamento muy amplio, luminoso, muy cómodo y con una ubicación perfecta. Muy amables, súper recomendable si viajes a Bari. Sin duda volveremos!

Pas de machine à café

Perfect location in Bari: easy to walk to the old town and the main train station. Spacious apartment with a nice balcony. Nice modern furniture, good bathroom, and even a small kitchen. Friendly and responsive staff (we only interacted via WhatsApp, which is common in Italy).

These are more recommendations for future travelers to avoid miscommunication (and mostly not the property's fault): Tourists are charged a per-person-per-night visit tax by the city, which is apparently not included in what you pay on booking.com. We first thought it is a scam, but other properties in Bari and Rome also told us they had to collect the extra tourist tax. At least these guys let us pay electronically. Others only wanted cash. Booking.com should make this clearer when you book a place. There was also some miscommunication between the property and booking.com about the bed arrangement. This, like many other places we considered, offers the option to set up extra pull-out beds or combine two smaller (like twin size) beds into a larger one (like queen size). This is great, but despite us selecting the preferred arrangement in booking.com, the beds were set up differently. The property manager told us they did not know what we had selected on booking.com and that next time we should let them know about our preferences directly. This actually happened at several properties in Italy.
