Casa Almika Abate Gimma

Me and my husband stayed for a week. We are very pleased with how comfortable it was. Very clean, helpful staff. Wonderful location, close to the old city and the train station. We will come back again in the same property for sure. Very happy with the service and stay!

Perfect location to explore the central area. Very clean and modern. The communication with the host was easy and they responded quickly. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend and return when I come back to Bari!

The only thing was that the door leading to the common area was quite thin, so during the night you could hear the other guests going in and out, which could be a little setback if you are a light sleeper, but aside of that minor concern everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Almika Abate Gimma and couldn’t recommend it more highly. We booked all five rooms for a group of 10 people, and everything was very well organized. The rooms were very clean, modern, and comfortable, with daily cleaning and thoughtful amenities such as slippers, coffee refilled daily, tea, snacks, and juice in the fridge. There was also a common area in the hallway with a water dispenser, where we could take both still and sparkling water whenever we wanted. The location is also very good. The property is right in the heart of Bari’s city centre, just a short walk, about 13 minutes, from Bari Centrale train station, which made arriving and getting around very easy. The charming old town, Bari Vecchia, is only a few minutes away on foot, and you are also steps from the main shopping street, with Teatro Margherita, Piazza Mercantile, the port, and the seafront promenade all within a comfortable walk. On top of that, there is a very well-stocked supermarket right next to the building, so anything else we needed was just moments away. But what stood out to me from the very beginning, and actually made me feel confident about keeping the reservation, was the excellent communication with Micaela. Even several months before our stay, she replied immediately to every question I had, and the same kindness and responsiveness continued throughout our stay. She was helpful, attentive, and always quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Her support made the whole stay feel easy and effortless. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place in the centre of Bari, with excellent support and care from the staff, this is it. We would happily return. Thank you, Micaela!
