Lovely clean perfect location

Nothing to dislike

The breakfast provided was excellent and very unexpected. Usually you would get a small food parcel (milk/bread etc) but supplies for a full cooked breakfast were provided with quality ingredients, including milk and a loaf of bread. Everything we could possibly need was provided from salt and pepper to ice cubes! The bathrooms were huge and very well-equipped. The outside area was lovely and included a BBQ, there was wood etc for the log stove provided, the views from the house were spectacular and there was even a donkey in the field next to it. There was a canal nearby where you could do a walk and a popular pub in the village.

There were a couple of small things that would have improved our stay but are incidental - some coat hooks near the entrance to hang outdoor coats on, a hand towel in the WC, softer pillows in the bedrooms and more comfortable chairs in the living area. There was a little road noise in the bedrooms but the road wasn't busy and it didn't disturb your sleep.
