Very comfortable accommodation! The apartment is located on the top floor and has an elevator from the underground parking (extra fee). The unit is newly renovated and has two new quiet ac units and fully separated sleeping areas. Mattresses are comfortable, kitchen appliances work well. Very close to city center.

Íbúð mjög fín, hrein og allt til alls. Mæli alveg með þessari íbúð en verð að segja neikvæðu lika.
●Erfitt að ná í eiganda, hun talar enga ensku og sendir bara pósta a itölsku. Eg er ekki með Whats up, sagði henni það nokkrum sinnum, en hun sendi i gegnum booking sem er fint því þá getur maður þýtt textann, hun sendi líka i gegnum email. Booking nog fyrir mig og mjög þægilegt. Hun sendi mer upplysingar um ibúðina 5 min aður en við mættum til Stresa þvi eg var ekki með whats up :)!
● Eg spurði nokkrum sinnum um WIFI, hún svaraði því aldrei.
●Aircond lak siðustu nóttina þannig að við sváfum lítið, enduðum með að nota öll handklæðin til að heyra ekki í lekanum og vernda golfið að sjálfsögðu. En svona lagað geriat auðvitað.
Aðallega að hun svaraði aldrei varðandi WIFI var pirrandi.
En svo i lokin þegar atti að borga tax og aðrar upplysingar þa sendi hun skjótt og títt. Mer fannst það bara svo fyndið og typískt.

The property was in a super location, a short distance behind the Regina Palace Hotel. It was spacious and had more or less everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including kitchen equipment.
Host Vivian was very responsive and helpful throughout.
NOT a case of "we didn't like" - it wasn't an issue at all for us, though it was unexpected that along with an impressive hillside view, the immediate view from the bedroom, was the roof car car park of the Conad supermarket neighbouring the apartment block.
Stresa is popular and very busy and parking was something of a challenge. All spaces were 'on road' and free. However it did require driving up, down and around several times to find a space near the property. They were very few and far between.
