Excellent

We really enjoyed this property as it had everything we required and more. The kitchen was excellent with everything we needed to cook. The stove and cook top were excellent. We loved having a washing machine as we are travelling and the view down to Lake Maggiore was enchanting. Our host was very attentive and replied quickly if we had a question. It's close to shopping including supermarkets and restaurants. The railway station is also very close. It's very clean, stylish and well appointed and modern. The WiFi was excellent and I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I would recommend is a booklet with instructions about some amenities such as how to use heating etc, as we aren't from Europe, some devices we aren't familiar with.

Best place to stay in Stresa!!!

A Casa Di Chiara is an incredible place. Location is good, about 12 minutes from train station and 10 from the Old town. Very nice supermarket is 4 minutes away. Apartment is beautiful, spacious, modern, very clean and very comfortable. It has everything one needs. The best - is the owner- nice and easily reached by Whatsup. We enjoined the balcony, quietness and location of this apartment. Thank you so much for fruit and especially for truffles. So sweet of you, Chiara.

Peaceful stay in Stresa

We loved staying in this apartment which was a short walk into the centre. It was in a local neighbourhood so it was lovely and peaceful. The apartment was large, very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a small washing machine which was very useful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless.

Location good

The dishwasher didn’t work from Saturday to leaving…half my holiday.it fused everything,I txt chiara ,she txt back ‘her mum was coming in 10 mins,which she did and said I hadn’t to use washer and dishwasher together,which I followed,I deduced washer ok but dishwasher wanted a professional electrician.this didn’t happen,I didn’t push as I wanted to enjoy my holiday BUT NOT FELT safe as no safe box,which your details said there was!! No check on me! I couldn’t wash by hand ,as I had a broken wrist,chiara ,the owner knew this! While testing one night in complete darkness…frightening!Not a good experience,I’m a booking.com for a long time,I expect better quality.

Comfortable stay in beautiful Stresa

The property was spacious and clean. Light poured in from all windows. Bed was comfortable, bathroom big enough for all three of us. Elevator to get up with all our luggage and Chiara was very quick in responding to us. We could park our car out front which made it stress free for parking. Great location and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!!

Spacious, quiet and in a perfect location!

Chiara's apartment is in a wonderful location, easily walkable from the train station and a short walk to the beautiful old town and waterfront. The apartment is extremely spacious and has a fabulous balcony with beautiful views to the mountains behind. A large supermarket is a short walk away and there are many restaurants close by. The apartment is very well thought out and provides many extras for guests which makes it easy to eat in if that is preferred. A washing machine is also great for longer stays.

The weather was unseasonably hot for the week we visited in June and unfortunately the apartment does not have air conditioning. A fan was available and the wonderful host provided us with an additional fan within an hour of our arrival. External doors can also be opened to the balcony if there is a breeze which did help at times. Just something to be mindful of if the weather forecast indicates high temperatures.

Very comfortable and clean. Spacious. Great location, easy walk to town center and train station. Has EVERYTHING you need. We washed our clothes and cooked dinner. It’s the best accommodation so far. Hard to top.

Large and nice apartment for a couple of days on Lake Major

Location close to Stresa’s center and ferries/boats. Lot of room, modern amenities, nice view over the mountains and lake. Easy communication with Chiara.

It might not always be easy to find a parking spot on the street. We arrived in the evening and we found the very last spot available to park up the street. There were a few stains on the sofa in the living room but I guess accidents happen and you cannot change furniture every other day ;)

Great location

Amazing location, within walking distance to everything. We were here for a wedding at the villa which was literally at the end of the road. Couldn't have been better. Also loved starting each day with a coffee (from the machine provided) out on the balcony with beautiful views. The place was clean and we immediately felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. Nothing to fault! Everything as expected from the photos.

The appartment is super well located and well designed/furnished with everything needed for a nice stay. Chocolate and water at arrival provided by the host as a welcome gift. Communication with Chiara super easy.

A bit noisy when windows are open and no air conditioning which was kind of difficult during the night given the high temperature.

Spacious and very clean apartments. Freshly furnished. Well situated in 5 mins from center of Stresa. Supermarket in 3 mins by foot. Well equipped kitchen, you can cook what you want. Convenient beds. Public parking was available on the nearest street.

A great apartment in a great location.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and tidy. It was very modern and the kitchen was very well equipped. The location was excellent, very peaceful and only a 7/8 min easy walk down to the town and 8 mins to the station. The view from the wraparound balcony was breathtaking, it was amazing to be able to see the mountains and the lake.

Very spacious and luxurious appartment near the city center. Quiet neighbourhood and good beds were recipe to good nightrest. Owner thought of everyting: fruit, chocolates, etc. Great coffeemachine. Owners have restaurant in the centre. Also recommended.

Fabulous stay in beautiful Stresa

Our host was thoughtful, responsive and very nice. The 4th floor apartment is reached by elevator, is secure, modern and beautifully decorated. A wonderful balcony provides views of the mountains and a peek of the lake. We walked to the old town and waterfront in less than 10 minutes, passing a great grocery store on the way. Parking is right in front of the building.

Excellent place

The apartment feels like it has just been renovated, everything was very clean and tidy. It was very well organised, with all needed kitchen implements and plenty of coffee, tea and little things that you tend to need in short lets, (oil, salt, sugar, etc). The views from the terrace were amazing, and the location was very handy for Stresa town and the supermarket. A very good stay.

Great spot & superfriendly hosts!

This appartment is spacious and looks brand new. Everything is there to immediately enjoy the holiday.. fresh fruits-chocolates and water offered as a start, but also coffee/tea and many more. Place to park the car. Near to the city and quiet. A nice balcony where we could eat breakfast outside or just nice for a read. And most of all! Friendly hosts with their own restaurant, very responsive at any time.

Really to recommend

We were there with our 2 dogs, all in all we felt very comfortable. Very clean. The beds are a dream. The owners are very helpful and very nice. Quiet residential area but still everything within walking distance. Be sure to listen to Chiara's tip and go to the Mamma Mia restaurant, very tasty. We will come back for sure :-)

Everything was perfect. Large beautiful apartment full of light. Perfectly equipped kitchen. Very nice hosts. I discovered books about treks and history of the area on a shelf - super interesting and useful, even in Italian.

Appartamento ben curato, super fornito di accessori vari, pulito e profumato, molto accogliente, bello e buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Colazione non prevista, ma abbiamo trovato kit di benvenuto con frutta e acqua fresca, cioccolatini e persino prosecco per brindare all’inizio del nuovo anno. Penso che questi ultimi due, siano stati volutamente aggiunti dalla proprietaria come extra, per renderci il soggiorno ancora più gradevole, visto che i miei figli ed io siamo alla ricerca di un po’ di serenità e nuovi equilibri dopo la grave recente perdita dell’amato capo famiglia.

wunderschöne, sehr liebevoll gestaltete Wohnung

Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin Chiara war hervorragend. Die Schlüsselübergabe mit Türcode sehr einfach. Die Wohnung wird den Bildern mehr als gerecht und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Uns erwartete eine Schale mit Obst und Süßigkeiten sowie Wasser im Kühlschrank. Sehr aufmerksam ;-) Die Lage ist super! Um die Ecke befindet sich ein gut sortierter Supermarkt. Das Zentrum von Stresa ist in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, wie auch die Bootsanliegestelle für die Inseln, deren Besuch ich sehr empfehlen kann. Wir hatten einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Türe. Der Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider konnten wir aufgrund unserer geplanten Rundereise nicht länger länger bleiben. Ich komme gerne wieder und freue mich schon darauf.

Vraiment super

Appartement super. Tout est prévu pour que l'on se sente bien (il y avait même des petites attentions à notre arrivée). L'appartement est très proche du centre ville et d'un centre commercial, génial. Il n'y a pas de problème pour se garer sur la voix publique.
