The Oxygen Apartment near Canary Wharf, Excel & O2

Bella struttura, la nostra campare comoda per un soggiorno da 4 persone. Al piano terra un gran bel pub per bere mangiare e divertirsi con bigliardo e freccette, fuori un gradevole giardino per passare una piacevole serata mangiando fuori. La cucina di buon livello panini e patatine apprezzabili. I ragazzi che ci lavorano tutti molto disponibili e gioviali, sicuramente un posto da tenere in memoria per un possibile ritorno a Bristol.

Forse non essendo abituati ad avere temperature così alte per non avere condizionatori in camera, abbiamo accusato un po' il caldo nella camera che era all'ultimo piano anche se avevamo a disposizione dei ventilatori. Però credo sia stato un periodo particolare anche per loro.

The apartment was lovely. In a fantastic location for O2 and the tube. Entering the apartment was straight forward.

Just a couple of minor things. These didn’t spoil our stay by no means. However, there was an iron but no ironing board and no appropriate surface to use. Also, the apartment was spotless throughout other than lots of long black hair strands on the bathroom floor. Again, this is just a big fussy pet hate of mine and our stay was not spoiled due to this. I would have liked a heads-up that there is a tracking device in the keys. As a single female in a big city, it did freak me out a little when my phone constantly alerted me to ‘being tracked’. Once I established it was the keys, it all made sense.

The apartment has a large kitchen for its size (it could use some more equipment, like sharp knives and a normal coffee maker) so we were able to cook some meals. There's also a Tesco downstairs, which is convenient but it can get loud, especially with the windows open. Close to the DLR and Elizabeth line. The balcony was a nice addition to the apartment.

We traveled during a heatwave and chose this apartment especially because it had air conditioning. We found out after checking in that it didn't exist, they only had an electric fan, which wasn't enough in the 30+ Celsius degree heat. The property manager acknowledged the mistake and we got a partial refund.

Posizione ottima per o2 arena, con la funivia ci vogliono pochi minuti per arrivare.

Il Rumore fisso in casa, come se si fosse in aereo. Non abbiamo riposato bene. Abbiamo avuto anche la fortuna di avere un operaio educato che il sabato mattina alle 8 si è messo a usare la fresa in corridoio come se niente fosse.
