Locația

Am avut o experiență minunată la această cabană de pe Dunăre! Locația este absolut superbă, cu o priveliște liniștitoare asupra apei, perfectă pentru relaxare și deconectare. Cabană este curată, bine întreținută și dotată cu tot ce ai nevoie pentru un sejur confortabil.

Nu există aspecte negative, totul ne-a plăcut.

What we liked: * The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. The cabin is literally hanging over the water, offering breathtaking views of the Danube. This is definitely the property’s strongest feature. * The host was very friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to check in after the reception had been closed, which we greatly appreciated. * Dog-friendly policy: small dogs can stay free of charge. * Free parking is available and there is also an EV charging station on site (paid).

What we didn’t like and why we would not return: ● The noise from the highway is extreme. The property is located directly next to a major highway, and staying here feels like sleeping in the middle of a busy road 24/7. There is a constant stream of trucks passing at high speed day and night. The noise is so overwhelming that it completely overshadows all of the hotel’s positive aspects. ● The cabin itself is very old and worn compared to the photos advertised online. The wallpaper is peeling off, the blinds are falling apart, the balcony door does not close properly, there is an old wrinkled carpet next to the bed and the balcony appears unfinished. The bathroom is designed like a yacht cabin: after taking a shower, everything around the toilet gets wet, and the shower door does not close properly. Some windows have no curtains at all, creating an uncomfortable “aquarium” feeling, especially since they face a public terrace directly. ● There is no kettle, which is surprising considering the cabin has a small kitchenette but no stove. It is impossible to boil water for tea or coffee. ● The cabin only has two very small tables. A proper dining table would be useful, especially for eating indoors during bad weather. Overall, the view is exceptional and the host is welcoming, but the constant highway noise and the poor condition of the cabin make it difficult for us to consider staying here again.
