About this house rental
The Space:
Beautiful, large home in the amenity-filled Bayside community of West Ocean City, Maryland. This home offers four bedrooms, three full-bathrooms, one half-bathroom and plenty of interior and exterior living space. The living level features a sitting room with a sleep-sofa, a large comfortably furnished living room, dining room, fully-equipped eat-in kitchen and a half-bathroom. The first bedroom features a queen-sized bed, television and an ensuite full-bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. The second and third bedrooms feature queen-sized beds and deck access. The second full-bathroom is centrally located and easily accessible by the second and third bedrooms. The fourth bedroom features a queen-sized bed. The loft area on the third floor with an attached full-bathroom provides additional living and sleeping space. Outside living includes the front porch, second floor deck and yard space. Community amenities include a clubhouse, indoor, outdoor and kiddie pools, fitness center, playground, game room, tennis courts, basketball hoop, walking trails and a waterfront activity pier. Assateague Island, Ocean City, Berlin, marinas, golf, shopping, amusements, restaurants and more are all just a short drive away. Come make some memories at the beach with Coastal Life Vacations. Linen and towel package included with reservation. Management fee includes Damage Waiver for $1000 in accidental damage coverage. The Bayside community charges guests $125 for amenity access, which is optional.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations shall be in writing. Management fees are non-refundable. Reservations canceled more than sixty (60) days prior to the check-in date will receive a 100% refund less aforementioned fees. Reservations canceled more than thirty (30) days prior to the check-in date will receive a 50% refund less aforementioned fees. No refunds will be provided for reservations canceled thirty (30) days or less prior to the check-in date. No refunds will be provided if Guest does not take occupancy of the Property. A transfer to another Property at Guest’s request will be treated as a cancellation. Reinstatement of a canceled Reservation is subject to additional management fees. The Reservation will be in effect upon
receipt of initial required deposit payment and the applicable cancellation policy will apply at that time.
General Policies
Minimum guest age is twenty-five years old.
The guest that signed the Lodging Agreement shall be the guest that checks-in. This guest must be at least twenty-five years old and occupying the property throughout the duration of the rental period. All occupants of the property during the rental period shall be supervised by this guest. Violation of this policy will result in denial of access, cancellation of the reservation and/or immediate removal from the property without refund.
Maximum occupancy is noted on the listing and related materials. Violation of this policy will result in denial of access, cancellation of the reservation and/or immediate removal from the property without refund.
Guest shall not host, or permit to be hosted, any parties at the property at anytime. Violation of this policy will result in denial of access, cancellation of the reservation and/or immediate removal from the property without refund.
Pets are prohibited at the property. Violation of this policy shall be grounds for immediate removal from the property without refund. Guest will be responsible for all associated cleaning costs.
No smoking or vaping is allowed on the premises. If smoking or vaping does occur on the premises, Guest will be evicted and is financially responsible for all damage caused by the smoking including, but not limited to, stains, burns and the cost of odor remediation and removal and replacement of damaged property.
Your booking includes $1000 in accidental damage coverage, however any property damage needs to be reported immediately to Coastal Life Vacations to avoid additional charges and/or legal claims.
Rental booking includes a complete linen and towel package. Guest will be responsible for supplying their own paper products, toiletries, trash bags, beach towels and beach equipment.

When I booked the VRBO, the site said there was a pool and other things. Several days before we started our stay, I received a phone call asking if I wanted to PURCHASE the pool package. There is nothing on the website that mentions needing to pay more for the pool. This house was very nice. We were four retired military guys coming to Ocean City for a golf trip. The layout of the house is probably great for a family with kids. We were expecting three showers to share with four bedrooms. No idea the third floor had a living room and the 3rd shower. No beds on the third floor, just a living room with couches and a full bathroom. Most of us like TVs in the bedrooms. There was only a TV in the master bedroom, and even that was a very small TV. With the prices of televisions, there is no reason more bedrooms didn't have them. And the one in the master bedroom should have at least a 55inch TV. There is a garage that goes with the house, but it's not for use by the renter. Overall very nice house, layout not right for four golfers.

The home we stayed at was very lovely. My point of contact was also very friendly and quick to respond to my few questions. We decided to pay the 125 amenities fee, and we used the outdoor pool (with life guard) during our stay, which was phenomenal, especially for little kids, as it has a large gradual slope walk-in entry - even my 18 month old was able to explore freely and safely. My bedroom/bed in particular was very comfortable, and the house was very clean. Arrival and departure was very easy to follow. I did feel like some things were sparse in the house, and the rest of my party agreed. For a home to accommodate up to 10 people, there were not quite enough lamps to light the spaces (for example, none in the living area adjacent to the kitchen), and along the same lines, the kitchen tools were extremely minimal if you plan to cook much. The TV adjacent to the kitchen we couldn't get to work, but we were able to have a movie night on the 3rd floor. It worked out ok, but both dining areas (an 8-seater table in the kitchen and a 4-seater table in the dining room) were all high-top chairs, which might be challenging seating for little kids.Overall, I would stay in this house/neighborhood again. We loved being so close to Berlin and Assateague (our main destination), and some of our group enjoyed Ocean City. The residents in this neighborhood we spoke with were very kind and treated us guests very nicely.
