The Sheriff's Den

Great one night stay! Facilities all clean. Loved the games table, tabletop football, air hockey, and pool all in one table! Couldn’t be happier.

Good location, free parking, good shower, easy check in and good price

A little rough around the edges which could easily be improved with a little bit of care, kitchen draw front fell off the second it was touched, luckily one of the group had a toolbox in the car so fixed that for them. Just small things like panelling on the walls had black background but had used gold screws to attach it, and it wasn’t quite lined up straight which to a couple of OCD adults annoyed us. Duvets slightly stained and all cups and cutlery could do with a proper clean, lots of black marks on the walls, post left on window sill, nothing major and looked lived in which was fine for what we needed.

What I liked most was how comfortable the bed was. The living room and bedroom were both clean, tidy, and well looked after. The host was very informative, with excellent communication throughout my stay. The shower was lovely, and it was a nice touch to have tea and coffee available in the kitchen. Overall, it was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

The only downsides to my stay were that, unfortunately, I visited on the hottest day of the year. The bedroom was unbearably hot, and although a fan was provided, it didn't make much difference. I also noticed quite a few small spiders around the inside of the entrance door frame, which could do with some attention. Parking was another minor issue, as I was lucky to find a space on the road when I arrived in the evening. Apart from these points, I enjoyed my stay.

The pictures are very misleading. We were met with cobwebs and dust, so I’m glad we were only there for a brief stop over.
