Would rather have slept on the street

Host did not send details, had to request them, while lads are at property waiting to get in

Host asks for a deposit of 250.00 paid into there personal bank, Host then decided we would not get our deposit back and refused to give any reasons as to why. The property is a mess, doors hanging of hinges, staines on walls, and they even ask you to not wear shoes while walking round, Screws missing out of beds. Absolute dive of a place. I think they should advertise all there request on the description of the house. maybe then they would not get any custom. Woman not very helpful and found her to be very rude when spoke to her. AVOID at all costs these are just Thieves out to con who they can

Good value for money

The property was close to the Motorpoint Arena which it was we needed it for, we were attending a concert mid-week.

The host was far from friendly prior to the stay, there was no available iron which is normally a given for a stay away from home. There is a £250 "Damage Fee" that is in the small print but I hadn't seen it prior to about 18 hours before our stay (too late to cancel) this was returned promptly after my stay, but there are passive aggressive notes around the house to remind you that you will be charged should anything be damaged/or if the kitchen was left unclean, which made me take plenty of photographs for the marks already there in the house. It's great for a short stay if you need to be at the Motorpoint arena, but I think calling it "immaculate" is probably a bit rich seeing as there were scuffs on most of the walls and burns in the master bedroom's carpet. Also, only one parking space, the rest is permitted.

Not made to feel welcome

The house was very clean and the decor was modern and fresh. The kitchen was well equipped and had some essential ingredients stocked.

Demand for £250 deposit (initially cash, later became bank transfer). General demeanour of host and property giving us the impression we were an inconvenience. TV was not connected to aerial or other input source so pointless. I had to contact the host for Wifi code. All windows and doors were locked. All in all I didn't get the impression the landlady wants to be in the business of renting out her property.

Relaxing and comfortable stay with the facilities for a family stay

The property is very good, spacious and well maintained to high standards and host was too good , helpful and very quick in responding to all the queries we asked for . Area is very pleasant and calm . I'm very pleased and satisfied staying here at this property .

Do not use this vendor, the place is damaged not immaculate at all, on top of that the security key lock wasn't working properly they said at first we changed code, why would we? Then we had damaged it, again why would we? All a rouse to keep our £250 deposit, I will be reporting to booking.com and trading standards, the vendor was very rude and accusational from the get go, At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!!!!

Disappointing

The property is not immaculate as described in the title, I would say worn and basic. We booked for 2 mothers and 12 year old daughters to attend cheerleading competition at the arena. It Was a good location for us. We just need somewhere to rest our heads before a very early start in the morning. We were requested to transfer via bacs £250 breakages. I had 2 separate messages before we arrived asking us not to smoke or do any drugs in the property, which I found a bit unnerving. On arrival very late in the evening 11pm, the place was not very clean, there were cleaning products left out and draining board had crockery and cutlery on, left over food in the fridge. Curtain pole hanging down in the living room, carpet dirty and curtains polyester and very cheap. 1 small pillow each for the beds, hard crispy towels. There was no toilet roll, we had to go out and search for an open shop at 11.30pm. The bathroom toilet was draining very slowly. So we didn’t use it. We left the house as we found it. The next morning out of curtesy I let the owner know about the toilet, who immediately said they would take £50 off our breakages, shocked as without even assessing the problem and accused us of causing it saying she had photos from the cleaner so couldn’t be a problem. Was very defensive and accusatory. When I tried to suggest they look first and that I’d be unhappy that they were blaming us they just said raise complaint with booking.com. Later on that day they contacted us saying seemed ok now and we must have used too much toilet paper. It was then I told the owner there actually had been no toilet roll provided in the property. The owner then blamed the cleaner. We got our deposit back eventually, all was very bizarre behaviour and not at all professional. This kind of experience unfortunately puts me off using private lets. I’ll opt for a hotel next time for piece of mind.

This place is nice enough as a place to stay for a couple days. my own personal opinion.. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location. Within walking distance from the town, with bus stops nearby if you’d rather not walk. Beds made on arrival and heating was in so the place was warm.

There were quite a few things wrong with this property which made me very nervous about getting the security deposit back. Stains on carpets, tiles hanging off the wall in the downstairs bathroom and marks to the walls.. deposit was returned in full, 23 hours after checkout.

Problem ze zwrotem depozytu

Brzydki zapach w domu, jak mocz kotów. Na zwrot depozytu czekamy 3 tygodnie, sprawą zajmuje się Booking.com. Zameldowanie było od godziny 3pm a klucz dostałem o godz 6pm, 3 godziny czekałem pod domem. Nie polecam!!!
