safe,comfortable house with easy access to town

super close to city centre, great when seeing concert and activities in town. comfortable living for 5 of us staying… not too cramped

found used balloons and old false nails and lashes in house on arrival. wasn’t easy to amend dates of stay had to pay extra night

The location was great, easy to find but quiet area. Close to town. The size of the lounge and kitchen was good to.

There were some issues with cleaning and also with the place no looking like the images provided. However, I sent images and raised concerns and this was dealt with.

Disappointing

The description stated there was a sofa bed. We tried to pull out the sofa bed and it would not come out. I called the emergency number provided and the person on the phone didnt know how to help but I was told someone would get in contact with me. Nothing was done so we were unable to use it.

Not too bad.

What I liked most about the property was its convenient location. It wasn’t far from the places I needed to visit, making the daily commute very easy and stress-free.

I recently stayed at this property for 5 nights, and unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet the expectations set by the online pictures. The room size was smaller than expected, and one of the windows didn’t open, which was quite inconvenient. Although they offered to send someone to fix it on day 3, the issue persisted for the first part of our stay. To make matters worse, only two rolls of toilet tissue were provided for the entire 5-night stay, which felt far too little. Additionally, the photos online appeared much more appealing than the actual condition of the house. It didn’t live up to the hype, and I was left feeling disappointed overall. I hope the management addresses these concerns for future guests.

The smell of stale smoke and marajuana was unbearable plus the hoover not working meant we couldn't even clean ourselves. Stained bedsheets that look like they've recently been slept in was bad.

The place was Not as advertised only a single bed and double not two double, was not very clean and not enough sheets provided, had to leave early and got no replies when contacting the company

Quiet and clean house.

Very clean and quiet. Perfect Internet access and plenty of tv options. Access to the city centre was very easy, only 15 minutes by foot. Also a lovely park around the corner.

Our situation had changed but our original group of 4 adults and a dog would have been a little bit too cosy for 3 nights there. Also plenty of rubbish and discarded furniture in the neighbouring area meant the street look a bit of an eyesore (nothing to do with the owners though, they kept their premises spotless).

Adequate for the cost.

The fridge and freezer were a good size and the washing machine also had a tumble dryer setting. The house was warm. The garden was secure which was good as we had a dog. The bathroom had a bath tub with a shower above which was good for children. There was off road parking for 1 car.

The house had not been cleaned adequately before we arrived so I spent the whole first day there cleaning. The floors had not been hoovered or cleaned, there was a lot of pet hair and sticky spots. The bathroom had also not been properly cleaned as the underside of the toilet bowl and the lower part of the bath panel had stuff stuck to it. The kitchen utensils were in very poor condition, with some pans too rusted to be used and a very off colour chopping board. There was no collinder or can opener in the kitchen which was annoying. The pepper grinder and sugar tin were empty too. Overall the house was not in great condition and quite a lot of things need repair. Also I think a squirrel is living in the loft ad I could hear it scrabbling around at night.

Superb

It's a cosy little house, felt right at home. Kirsty and Sam are both lovely, they are very communicative. We have inquired if they have a coffee table and they came over providing more than what we asked. :)

A few little diy is necessary but nothing that impeded the comfort of our stay.

Pleasant

Good value for money.

There were lots of things missing which would have been great e.g washing up liquid (sorry we had to leave the washing up), bed side tables, a bath mat. The second bedroom which is supposed to sleep 2 consisted of one single bed and a pull out bed underneath however not enough space in the bedroom to pull the bed out,so it was half a mattress on the floor rather than a bed. The place also smelt of smoke quite a lot.
