Amazing house - gem of a property!

Very comfortable and welcoming. Everything plus more is at the house, host very welcoming. Not a thing out of place, clean, tidy and very well equipped. Perfect for our stay.

Our Stay at Dulverton House

The owner of this property could not have been more helpful. We had a lovely stay in this property, which was spotlessly clean and very well equipped and spacious. Thoroughly recommended for anyone visiting the Nottingham area.

We had a good stay, just some simple improvements needed.

The property appealed to us because it was close to the motorway and had off street parking and was was also dog friendly.

There was a very strong odour of bleach when we first entered the house. Whilst the house was spotlessly clean, I’m sure there are more gentle products that could be used to sanitise the property. The garden was very unkempt and could do with a little maintenance. The bedrooms do not possess any mirrors and the double bed could do with being moved to one of the larger rooms. I would say the single beds are ok for children but not for adults. There are no welcome instructions and these would certainly be helpful.

Lovely place for a short stay !

Property was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Host was always available to answer any questions and was very kind. Keys were easily accessible and the location of the house was very good. Beds were very comfortable and sheets were fresh. The bathroom was quite nice as well.

Only thing I’d say is I wish there were mirrors in the bedroom.

A comfortable house to spend time in and cook meals in.

It had good space for 4 persons. It was well stocked eg dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, coffee, coffee machine tea, towels and bathroom accessories.

The double bedroom is not big enough for two adults. A few more kitchen utensils and cookware would be good.

Rough area but nice inside the house

The inside of the house is nice, looks like a new bathroom, new stairs carpet and relatively new kitchen. The owners have thought about the inside of the house, it is clean with modern décor.

The area is rough. Our taxi driver warned us when he dropped us back from our night out. He said "don't go wandering around, the area is bad". We had already noticed anyway when we first arrived as a small child was pushing a moped and people on the street were shouting at someone in a car, there was rubbish in the street. We were only stopping in the house to sleep after a comedy gig in the city and then head off the next day further north. Also if there were 6 of you then there are not enough seats in the lounge, kitchen or outside. The garden needs some attention. The back right hand corner of the fencing needs fixing and the shed needs knocking down and getting a new one.

A clean, comfortable and relaxing stay

The House was clean, secure and very comfortable. It was a two n=minute walk to the bus stop to get us into the city. We enjoyed the microwave popcorn. The location was very quiet which really helped for a relaxing stay. Internet worked well. I would highly recommend to others.

A booklet with some instructions for the appliances and local information e.g the fast food shops, nearest supermarket, bus timetable etc. would be helpful. I have had these in other houses and they have been invaluable.

Comfortable retreat on the edge of Nottingham

House was nicely finished and clean. Beds were comfortably and kitchen we'll appointed with pots pans crockery and kitchenware

Trying to work out oven controls. A cheat sheet or laminated card with instructions would be great. Bedrooms could benefit from a full length mirror.
