About this house rental

Lovely duplex located in a quiet neighborhood minutes away from Eastern Oregon University, Grande Rhone Hospital, downtown LaGrande and hiking/biking trails located in our beautiful valley. Professionally cleaned, this 1300 sqft property offers 2 bedrooms, office and 2 full bathrooms with high ceilings and forced AC/heating. The master bedroom has a private bathroom and walk in closet. All bedrooms offer queen sized beds. You can also book the other side "Crow Nest B" for a bigger group.

Alma communicated just fine. Unfortunately the day before we were supposed to arrive she cancelled our reservation due to, what she claims, a plumbing leak that could not be repaired in a timely fashion. With that being said, I understand that things like this happen every now and again. However, the year before we rented from Alma and she forgot we were coming and did not have the home clean. My mom and I had to clean it. She made it right by refunding a day but it makes me wonder what is going on with this owner. Not only was our reservation cancelled it was during EOU’s homecoming weekend so we couldn’t not find other accommodations. I just feel that she is extremely unorganized and now I can’t trust reserving any of her properties.

We had some communications problems with the property manager because we did not have internet access prior to arriving to get the entrance code. Finally received it a couple hours before arrival by contact via phone calls. Overall, the property is as listed. Something not noted is the property is on a corner and traffic can be heard . The unit is comfortable and served our purposes. We took day trips in the area.

Just right for our group. Kitchen easy to use and we enjoyed breakfast and couple of other meals together. Beds were comfy and gathering space worked for our 5 adults. Location was fine and as we drove to restaurants and venues. Nice little patio for sunny day visits. Clean and tidy.

. The property was centrally located so that we could visit the hot springs and Wallowa Lake. The host was very welcoming. Making sure we had everything we needed.
