Lakehouse w/ Private Beach

This was our first time at an Air BN&B so we’re new to the process. Definitely an older home and you can tell they are working on updating and renovating so keep an open mind. Communication with Tony was easy and he periodically checked in via messages to make sure we didn’t need anything.The house has a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. There is access to the lake but not much of a beach. We stayed there in late May, there is no dock or launch so kayaking was a challenge due to how choppy the water was. But if you are just there for the view then you’re all set! There are neighbors and no fence so keep that in mind if you plan to bring pets. The house comfortably housed our group of 5 adults and 3 kids. House was clean and well stocked. Even the kitchen had condiments and supplies which we were not expecting so I suggest checking the cupboards before going shopping. If not, there are plenty of food options within 15mins. Laundry and cleaning supplies were present as well. Unfortunately the indoor hot tub and sauna were not functioning but that was in the posting when we booked. Outdoor hot tub was great especially since the evening temps were a little chilly. Plenty of cozy sitting spots and fluffy blankets in the main living space. We even took advantage of some of the board games that were in the little library downstairs. Wifi is available as well as a surround sound system you can connect to via bluetooth. Overall great spot. Highly recommend!

Had a girls weekend in January. What a house!!! View was amazing, hot tub was perfect, house was beautiful and clean and Tony was super helpful with anytbing we needed. Highly recommend!!! We will 100% be back in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving stay here — the home was cozy, spotless, and the perfect place to unwind for the holiday. The views were incredible, and being right near Lake Ontario made the whole trip feel extra special. The shoreline is truly gorgeous and was such a peaceful backdrop for our stay.Everything was smooth from check-in to checkout, and the space had everything we needed for a comfortable long weekend. The only thing we wished for was a TV in the common area so we could watch the parade and the game together. But honestly, that was a tiny detail in an otherwise perfect visit.Also, if you’re bringing kids, don’t forget your baby gates!!We loved our time here and would absolutely rent this place again.

Extremely challenging experience with communication. Property managed by a third party (not homeowner) who was not responsive and/or indirect from initial inquiries through booking, stay, and close out. Was charged extra fees for small family gathering, in addition to 1,000 in service and host fees. The bedrooms in the basement level were extremely loud, could hear every footstep and coin drop from first floor above, which were high traffic areas (kitchen and living room). Also despite having sleeping for 17 there was no place to dine other than a small round kitchen table with seating for 4 and two flimsy bar stools. Will not recommend this property.
