I reported documented cleanliness issues immediately after arrival. Management responded by coming to my accommodation despite my explicitly telling them I did not want an in-person visit. She stormed in thirty minutes prior to her request to meet and I was not showered, dressed or ready for a conversation, let alone a conversation. During the confrontation, I was told to leave or police would be called, which caused me significant distress, which then made my 11 year old upset and worried the police were coming. I have photographs and written messages documenting the condition and the interaction took place in person.

Unfortunately I booked this trip for my brother and his wife’s 20th wedding anniversary after I saw the program highlighting Finger Lakes Treehouse. It honestly seemed amazing but unfortunately it was far from the experience I was hoping they’d enjoy. The outdoor hot tub was filthy and bug infested and I wouldn’t have let my dog in that water. There weren’t enough basic supplies in the villa they stayed in. Having to go to the clubhouse for tp doesn’t help when you’re having a romantic night in to celebrate your anniversary. The games in the clubhouse were dated and since there isn’t much to enjoy in the area, perhaps there should be a vending machine with some snacks. I won’t get started on the overpriced extras. Needless to say I absolutely will not be recommending this venue to my friends and family. I had such high hopes 😢😢😢😢
