Luxury 5 Bedroom Home in Newcastle

The house is located in a good location to access both Newcastle city centre and the coast. It was fit for the purpose of a place to rest when spending most of the day out and about. The house itself wasn’t the cleanest, with old sweets and food found on the floor in the kitchen and under one of the beds upstairs. Additionally, although the images show towels provided and the listing not stating otherwise, providing only 5 full size towels for a booking of 8 guests was lacking. There was a full kitchen available with toaster, kettle, oven and hob. However, no oven gloves, washing up liquid, sponges to clean and wash dishes. This would have potentially been excusable if the oven trays and dishes used by the previous guests had been cleaned prior to our check-in. Finally, the boiler was very temperamental. Both the heating and hot water went off consistently during our stay. We did reach out to the owner who advised us on how to fix this but still not very appropriate. The house served it’s purpose. However, I feel for the cost of the stay, significant improvements need to be made for future guests.
