Great location, short walk from central station and into city centre. Useful to have two bedrooms and bathrooms for our party. The property was clean and access was easy and area felt safe ( our party was two sisters ). The property was warm and beds were comfortable. All the basics were there but the place could be improved. Reasonable value for money. Did not interact with any staff which is as expected in this sort of arrangement.
Just a few small updates would take this place from good to great. No curtains at all in the main sitting room so felt very exposed especially as there was a bar opposite with upstairs windows and poor window coverage in both bedrooms so the early morning light disturbed sleep. Only one bathroom had essentials (bin, toilet brush). There was no plug for the bath so I could not have one, could only shower. WiFi connection was poor and dropped out or slow when watching TV. There was no tea towel. Only a couple of dishwasher tablets provided for a 4 night stay feels a little mean. The place could do with some homely touches, more pictures on walls and nicer offering of tea/coffee etc (there was some but it was basic and dumped on the work surface). Attention to detail like that would make it feel more welcoming and less of a Travelodge style experience.

Poorly stocked. I had to buy my own dishwashing liquid, hand soap, bath soap, toilet tissue, and dish drying towel. Disappointing.
