Villa LiLo Private House with Heated Pool

Everything! This place is so homely. Felt at home from walking in the door. The pool is bigger than we originally thought. Extremely comfortable (Beds & couch). Garden is a sun trap!

There could be air con in the middle bedroom as it has no windows to open from outside.

Il n’y a pas de place de parking privée mais il est très facile de se garer dans la rue .Il n’y a pas de volet dans une chambre.

Bit difficult to find, taxi drivers don’t seem to know where Calle de la Isa is and not clear instructions as how to find the villa once you get there. Look for villa G2 near the mini roundabout and use the path alongside to wander around to Villa LILo. The villa is a spacious single storey villa but another villa does “overlap” over some of the rooms so there was noise from above (not to mention the dog left out all day) The villa itself is well appointed with plenty of cutlery, cooking utensils, oven, stovetop, huge fridge freezer,dishwasher (no instructions) etc etc. two bedrooms with large double beds and two singles in the third bedroom. The. Bedrooms needed more storage space, chest of drawers bedside units! The bathrooms, one en-suite, both need modernisation particularly the en-suite which has a very small shower that leaks water onto the tiled floor. Very comfortable sofa and large modern tv but no English channels! Also a pool table which we didn’t use, heated above ground plunge pool approx 5mx3.5m and 5ft deep all over. Few items like cooking oil and shampoos left behind and a Welcome pack from Aurora team who manage the property and were most helpful when we had problems. Large EuroSpar and Lidl 10-15 minute walk away and 20 minutes to the nearest restaurants and bars (do check out Fishermans Inn, need to book and Monica’s sports bar). Bit further into centre of Costa Tequise but taxi back just €5, if they can find Calle de La ISA!

Despite. Booking.com charging €210 cleaning fee, I’m not sure we’d of got a mid stay clean during our 2 week stay if I hadn’t asked! It barely took the two maids 30 minutes so a tad expensive! Unfortunately we had a serious problem in as much that where an extension had been built some years ago to the property the roof had previously leaked and been badly repaired and it leaked again. It rained overnight and I got up and slipped on the wet tiled floor falling badly and injuring my knee, ribs and shoulder having landed on the single step down in the lounge. Unfortunately it really spoilt the rest of the holiday and now 3 weeks on from the incident I’m still unable to raise my right arm above my head, my ribs still hurt and as a consequence I’m not sleeping well. I did receive a 30% refund from the owner via the management team Aurora holidays who again were most helpful but it was an accident that shouldn’t have happened had the roof been correctly repaired the first time.
