SC Hotel Ohanajaya #202 - Tokyo Stay Easy Access to Asakusa & Skytree

Really nicely laid out room with good use of space, and lots of room for a solo traveller, comfortable for a couple, and there is a second bed in an upstairs loft. Decent sized wardrobe and shoe storage so you can get you bags and clothes out of the way. There is an easy to use induction hob and a microwave for cooking. A full bathroom, with a bath and the usual over-bath shower. Apartment was immaculately clean, and tidy. It was also well supplied with things like soaps, etc, dish cleaners, rubbish bags and all that sort of thing. The area is very quiet and relaxing (but remember the walls of the rooms are thin, so act accordingly). Really liked it and thought it was excellent value for money. More than happy to return in the future. The apartment building is easy to find, roughly a 5 minute walk from Ohanajaya Station. A really nicely kept accommodation and a perfect base that is away from the craziness of the tourist areas but still with easy access to those areas, especially Asakusa. This turned out to be a great base, just over the river from Skytree (took me an hour to walk there, which was a nice way to explore but the trains run every 10 min or so - be aware some are Rapids and Expresses, so not all stop at Ohanajaya, use the Local train for that). Ohanajaya is on the Kesei line so easy access to Narita Airport and through to Oshiage (Skytree). Keisei also runs through to Haneda Airport. There are a lot of little bars and eateries tucked away around the neighbourhood, a couple of nearby supermarkets and combinis. so good to go exploring around nearby streets. Also fast food and 100 Yen stores located on the 'main' street around the train station.

No issues for me beyond the wifi being a bit unreliable in holding connection. Note that there are only stairs to access the apartment, so bear that in mind if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage (I'm pretty sure the owner mentions that clearly in the accom description).

1. Love the location. Besides the great location with trains linking both airports, the small neighbourhood has its charms with good restaurants and convenience + amenities shops.

If you’re lugging a huge luggage like me, then going up to the 2nd floor may be an issue.

お部屋はとても清潔で、電気ケトルや洗濯機、タオルなど必要なものが揃っていて助かりました。駅も近く、移動がしやすかったですし、近くに商店街もあって食事や買い物にも困らず、とても便利な立地でした。

壁が薄いのか隣の部屋の声や物音がかなり聞こえ、夜はあまり眠れませんでした。また、他の宿泊者の方が大きな声で騒いでいる時間帯もあり、少し残念に感じました。
