Sehr gute Lage, das Zentrum zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

Der laut booking.com garantierte Privatparkplatz war nicht verfügbar, was laut Vermieter durchaus passieren kann. Daher wurden 35€ für einen bezahlten Parkplatz (Parkhaus) fällig. Außerdem funktionierte der Rollladen der Balkontür nicht, sodass man nicht raus konnte. Das 2. "Schlafzimmer" verdient diesen Ausdruck nicht, es ist ein winziger Raum mit einem Stockbett - bestenfalls für Kinder geeignet. Des weiteren fehlt ein bequemer Platz im Appartement (die Couch ist das nicht), um eine längere Zeit dort zu verbringen. Für 2 Nächte ist es aber durchaus okay.

The location is convenient to the bus station and ten minutes walk to a grocery store. Old Udine is maybe a 15 minute walk. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook a meal. We really appreciated the drying rack on the porch.

The host does not live locally and does not speak English well. Check in is 3:00 pm but he called the day before to say we could check in at 1:00 if we wanted. I told him there would be a train strike and I could not guarantee when we would arrive. As it turns out our train arrived at 3:00 and by the time we got to the gate it was 3:10. The cleaning lady who was there to open the gate and front door waited from 1:00 to 3:00 and then left. We ended up waiting half an hour for her to return after contacting our host. Residents let us through the gate and the front door, so all he really needed to do is tell us the apartment number and lock box code. However, it was helpful to meet the cleaning lady as she showed us the wifi code and how to use the espresso maker. The apartment is great except for the mosquitoes! We killed five (all full of blood) the last morning and I counted nine more on the ceiling where we couldn't reach them.
