Yala Zafiro

Without doubt one of the favorite places we stayed! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner (Mr. Madushan) & his father. Our room was comfortable, very clean & neat. The owner arranged our Yala safari on the same day of arrival on a short notice even though we planned to do it on the next day. The location is easily accessible which is a plus point too. The dinner also was organized as per our requirements on a short notice and it was delicious too. Next day, we had a avurudu kema table ready for the breakfast, which we enjoyed. The staff were attentive (Mr. Madushan & his wife) and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.

The owner and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. Room and bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. They have safari also. The location is excellent. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. Great value in the katharagama.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Hotel Yala Zafiro. Even though it was a short visit, we truly enjoyed our time there. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and tidy, the breakfast was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. Overall, a great experience , we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Katharagama.

Everything was good!

The property was lovely, simple but very clean with a nice view of the garden from the balcony upstairs. Should be noted that the rooms upstairs are triple, the ones downstairs (which are double) don’t get the view but you still get a very nice sitting area. The value for money is really good. The breakfast was very nice and they were very kind to try to accommodate the children as much as they could. They can also help with Yala Park jeep rental. The hosts were very helpful with all our needs.
