Great location, David was really accommodating to our requests and the property was really nice.

The property was very clean, well equipped for all your essentials. Very close to town, eateries and transport connections. The owner added extras such as wine, and beer, fans put on due to warm weather. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

it’s very close to the city centre, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

The only downside was that it was a bit noisy because of the street outside, but that’s understandable given its central location.

Hi David, Thanks you for your email . We enjoyed our stay in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Thank you for accommodating us a day early and the wine and beer on our arrival. We could see that you have put much effort into the décor to make it an interesting, comfortable and fun place to stay . The apartment was well stocked with kitchen ingredients and utensils which were helpful when we ate in. The kitchen . bathroom and washing equipment all worked well . The location is also great in terms of easy access to the River/canal, restaurants and cinemas and the city centre band shops and the cathedral and castle. The guide books you left in the apartment were also helpful. Some of the things that did not work so well for us . 1. We did not realise the apartment was on the first floor and we would need to keep our electric bikes in the apartment. As the lift was quite small this proved a bit of a challenge taking our bikes in and out over the three days. 2. Access via the basement for the bikes sort of worked but again it was not ideal as it was rather basic, a bit scary at night time and a bit smelly. 3. We eventually mastered the security systems for both the ground floor and apartment entry and the basement but it would have been helpful to have a person to greet us to explain this when we arrived .I appreciate this may have been more difficult or not possible for you due to us arriving a day early and at night. Thank you for answering the doorbell when we arrived as we would have been in a bit of a pickle if we had not been able to contact you. 4. The weather has been unseasonably very hot this year and you provided fans and an air conditioning unit in the apartment. Nevertheless we both found sleeping at night a little difficult due to the heat. I do know whether this was solely due to the weather when we were there or it is a more general issue for the whole building? Thanks again for accommodating us for the extra day at such short notice.
