I found this accommodation after another was cancelled at the last minute. And I am very happy that it was because this one was great in any aspect! Situated only a short walk from the old centre on an island in the river it was ideal for my holiday. There are some nice river bars and restaurants nearby. The flat is very nice, clean and well equipped. The first floor view is very nice as well. I have been booking with booking. com for a few years now and this was maybe the best accommodation yet!

The location is excellent. The apartment is just a 5-minute walk from Hala Targowa and the Cathedral, and it’s right next to Ostrów Tumski, so you can easily explore the city on foot. The furnishings are nice and modern, but the real highlight is the breathtaking view of the Cathedral. Waking up to that view alone makes the apartment worth booking. The staff was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, always replying quickly whenever we had a question or needed assistance.

The apartment wasn’t as clean as I expected. There was a piece of paper and some crumbs under the sofa bed. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was also the most uncomfortable one I’ve ever slept on. It feels quite unstable when opened, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Another downside was the bedding. Even though we stayed in July, the only blanket provided was a thick duvet, with no light sheet available. Finally, for two people staying four nights, only one full roll of toilet paper and one almost empty roll were provided, which was clearly insufficient.
