Logement confortable et fonctionnel, très bien placé. Une literie au top 👌🏻 Patrícia, notre hôte, avait à cœur de faire en sorte que tout se passe bien. Elle a été très réactive quand il s’est agi de régler un problème d’eau chaude, par exemple. Chaudement recommandé.

The location is wonderful — perfect for relaxing. The accommodation is equipped with absolutely everything you might need to cook and feel comfortable. We especially appreciated the washing machine and dryer, which were extremely useful for us. The host was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had an excellent stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find two bottles of water and some fruit, and even a bottle of poncha waiting us — a small gesture, but a very thoughtful one that all hosts should consider for their guests. Given the location of the cabin, it’s good to know that the temperatures are slightly cooler and the humidity a bit higher than in other parts of the island. The accommodation is equipped with a dehumidifier, which ran continuously and was very helpful — thank you for that! The road from Machico is quite steep but nothing to worry about, while the route to the airport is much easier, with gentler slopes. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the airport, and a taxi cost us around 15 euros. Out of the three accommodations we had in Madeira, this one had by far the most comfortable beds — we slept wonderfully! The driveway is a bit narrow, but we managed perfectly fine with a Nissan Juke. There are restaurants and shops nearby — we had dinner in the area, and everything was lovely.
