Good location if you're doing the through hike across madeira, and has everything you need for one night with grocery store next door.

It was very hot in the room and very small if staying in the smaller room. Would be a problem if staying more than one night.

It was super cozy. Unfortunately, my flight didn't get in on the first day, so I only stayed one night. But it was very easy to get to by car from the airport, some narrow but beautiful roads for the full Madeira experience:) There is an amazing coastal trail quite close to this place, which I highly recommend. I didn't get to the beach, but you should check it out. The host was very quick to reply to messages. The place had everything you needed with the basics. It's in a very beautiful location. Comfy bed!

Well, the host was getting some concrete poured in the morning. So I got woken up at 8 am to move my car. Not a big deal, but after 40 hours of travel with tiny bits of sleep. A warning the night before would've been nice. But this likely isn't a common occurrence here!!

Very clean and all the basic essentials covered. Close walk to a beautiful beach and a pleasant, longer walk to town. Nice shower, bathroom, and kitchenette.

A little far from restaurants and shops given the price—a doable 20 minute walk but there’s nothing closer. The walls were very thin and we could hear the hosts talking loudly until late at night. Communication was also a little tough. I didn’t hear anything from the hosts until a couple hours before check-in, despite sending earlier messages in booking.com and WhatsApp to clarify details.
