In the village there is a large swimming pool by the sea and sandy beaches nearby (Maiata beach and lagoon beach); to emphasize, to the northwest of the village the beach of ribeira of Faial (with space for children to play, space for practicing sport, (with karting track in the vicinity), and with restoration next to the beach where delicious French confectionery is made.
Nearby there is a little bumpy secondary road with the possibility of taking a pleasant bike ride.

We had some very nice days here, the house is very clean and the view is superb. The area is really beautiful

We enjoyed our three nights here very much. It is in an absolutely gorgeous location and walks are possible from the house. The house is clean and well equipped. The owners mother brought us a pitcher of poncha the local drink which we enjoyed. I recommend this place very much to anyone.

The view from the house is amazing. Too big for two people, but we enjoyed our stay anyway. There’s good hikes to do all around the town.
