Rhino Plains is a little peace of heaven Carol’s staff members are gems 🤩 The game drives were excellent. Solly has a deep knowledge and love for the bush that he was eager to share with us The lodge is beautiful and elegantly done The meals were lovely. As beautiful to look at as to eat!

We chose this lodge to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. From the very first moment, Carol, Solly, and Zolly welcomed us with such warmth and genuine kindness that we felt truly special. Carol even surprised us with a beautiful gift — a gesture that touched our hearts deeply. The attention and care from the entire team is something we have never experienced quite like this anywhere else in the world. We are already certain: if you are looking for a place that goes far beyond accommodation and delivers a truly meaningful experience, this is it. We will carry this memory with us forever.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Solly the tour guide and the entire staff were really amazing. Solly was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Constantly checking if we have everything we need. Seeing the animals in the wild was also quite the experience and I’d recommend doing it at least once.

Carol the owner is extremely rude. She was rude over text and then wasn’t very accommodating once we got there. Our driver also said he had a terrible experience with her where she was rude to him in the past as well. Because of her lack of professionalism and accommodations I would not recommended this place. You also have to drive 10 miles down this very bumpy and dangerous road to actually get to the west gate to get to the reserve, which was scary and just not worth it. Find another reserve with a better owner and an entrance at the main gate. The shower also didn’t drain well so when you shower you have to water up to your ankles. Our lock to our cabin was also broken, and even though we were the only guests that day somehow we still got that cabin.
