Unforgettable Luxury Safari Experience – Makweti Safari Lodge We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Makweti Safari Lodge in September, and from the moment of booking to our departure, the experience was nothing short of 5-star excellence. From the warm welcome to the attentive farewell, Riaan, Jacqui, and the entire Makweti team delivered an exceptional level of service and hospitality. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and they made us feel incredibly well cared for throughout our stay. The accommodation was luxurious and beautifully appointed. Our suite featured a spacious, comfortable double bed, a convenient coffee station, and the most stunning bathroom I've encountered on a safari—complete with a deep soaking bath, plus both indoor and outdoor showers. The private deck and plunge pool added an extra layer of serenity and indulgence. The dining experience was another highlight. Meals were not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. The chef went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs, offering a wide variety of dishes and even tailoring meals to our preferences. But the true star of our stay? The game drives. Unlike larger lodges, Makweti offers a more intimate experience—no crowded vehicles, just you and the wild. Our guide, Riaan, was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. Every drive felt personal and insightful, with countless unforgettable sightings. Makweti Safari Lodge offers a perfect blend of luxury, exclusivity, and authentic safari adventure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end, personalized safari experience. I’m already dreaming about going back!
