Le coeur de la ville

The position: it's super close to the centre, and about 20 minutes from the station. The stuff: very nice, they let us drop the baggages before our actual checkin so that we could visit the city. The comfort: bed and areas are super comfy. Very silent.

The cleaning: it's absolutely not dirty, but could be cleaner (e.g. in the sink in the kitchen there was a leftover of a spaghetto and we never used the kitchen during our stay). The communication: we left very early in the morning to catch our train, but I have received a message from the hosts asking us to wash any potential tool used in the kitchen, bring the trash out and put the used towels in the bathroom. We were able to do none of these things. We would have appreciated if they were communicated in advance (the day of the checkin maybe?), and with more instructions: e.g bring the trash out where? Also, back to the point cleaning, this request made me a bit skeptical. I would expect all the towels to be washed between one guest and the other, because I might not have used it but I still touched it, so why is it important to leave in the shower the used ones? Did I use a towel previously put for someone else's staying? Same for the cutlery. I'm sorry, but the cleaning of the cutlery changes in different countries and cultures. There are countries where washing with only water and no soap is normal. So I don't trust the cleaning made by some other guest (who I don't expect cares that much since they would be leaving). For me the cleaning of these things should be managed completely by the host.

très bon emplacement : près de tout (commerces restaurant syndicat d initiative etc. ) pour visiter Amboise et la vallée de la Loire . Propriétaires sympathiques et réactifs

De locatie en het veilig, gratis en dichtbij parkeren. Verder is het een karakteristiek oud pand met dikke muren waardoor het binnen lekker koel bleef.
