Lavender Cottage Stow-on-the-Wold

The location was perfect, close to a really nice pub and car park. Street parking was handy and the general location within the Cotswolds is really good. We could find all the things (shopping and restaurants) we needed within a 5 minute drive. Visiting other towns ranged from 15-30 minutes from the property.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Lavender Cottage is beautifully furnished, the owner has very good taste with all rooms decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen was well laid out with a great space for dining. Although we didn't make sue off the garden it looks very pretty and is a nice space to sit outside. The position of the cottage is perfect for exploring Stow and the numerous nearby cotswold villages. We would definitely visit again.

I can't speak for the other rooms but the bed in the top floor room could do with being softer! Couple of lightbulbs were out and we couldn't get the microwave to work. The bath on the top floor takes ages to run and we had a problem with the dial that raises the plug which wasn't working.
