L'emplacement au milieu des champs est paisible, pas de circulation. Le petit déjeuner était super. Adi et son ami ont été extrêmement serviables et disponibles. Ils nous ont même fait à manger en urgence. Nous avons apprécié les tours proposés par Adi.

C'est justement assez éloigné du centre, il faut conduire un scooter. Puisqu'il faut critiquer les oreillers sont énormes.

Prachtig gesitueerd in de rijstvelden, ruim aanbod van tours/dagtrips en hele goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Het verhoogde restaurantje biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving.

Het ligt echt wel wat afgelegen, waardoor je te voet niet veel verder komt dan het bovengelegen dorp. Daar kan je wat kleine inkopen doen en eventueel eten (kan ook in de homestay). De tours bieden bijvoorbeeld een goede gelegenheid om de omgeving en de plaatselijke ambachten te leren kennen. De faciliteiten en huisjes zijn basic, maar dat is logisch gezien de zeer bescheiden prijs. Ook is er niet altijd WiFi of warm water, maar dat kan onderdeel zijn van de beleving op een wat meer afgelegen locatie. Oh ja, Google Maps geeft op dit moment nog net te vroeg aan dat je er bent - weggetje verder afrijden tot het overgaat in een onverhard pad en je de homestay al ziet liggen! (Er wordt aan gewerkt dat de locatie precies klopt. Overigens zijn er handige bordjes die de weg wijzen!)

Beautiful location amongst the rice paddies, very remote really a paradise. Lovely little porch on the bungalow. Very lovely friendly staff running the place. Not a bad point as such but by very remote i really mean VERY remote, about 30 minutes walk to the nearest shop (scooter is absolutely mandatory luckily i was able to have mine dropped off and collected)

God man it pains me to write this but it really is lacking, and i don’t want other guests to suffer our fate. If i was to come to tetebatu again i wouldn’t stay here in truth we left after the first night… firstly the wifi didn’t work for us or any guests during our short stay… the room felt almost half built, major gaps EVERYWHERE in the walls, doors and roof joins which allowed swarms of mosquitoes into the room (even my spraying did very little) they really need to provide a mosquito net… also worth mentioning there is a mosque pretty much next door which blasts (not an understatement) a call to prayer at 3-4 i am not casting judgement on the religion of others I’m just saying I’m typically a very deep sleeper and it woke me with a total start and kept on for a good 40 minutes… oh anyone the AC didn’t work other than as just a fan and noise generator really sub par experience unfortunately.
