SEOUL STATION - Jalita, Namsan

오랜만에 한국와서 가족들이랑 잠시 지내려고 들렀는데, 한국에 있는 감각있는 친구집 놀러온 것 같아서 너무 편하게 잘 지내다 갑니다. 숙소가 정성스레 꾸며져 있어서 그 진심들이 여행의 설레임을 더 더해주더라구요. 가족들도 다 만족해 하구요. 주변 광장이나 작게 작게 있는 가게들도 이쁘고, 서울 중심지인데도 남산아래 한국의 조용한 감성들을 느낄 수 있는 동네라는 점이 좋았어요. 다음에 또 올 수 있을지 기대하고 있어요. 호스트님 아주 응대가 빠르고 친절하시구요. 덕분에 편안하고 든든한 여행을 할수 있었습니다. 감사합니다. 훌룡한 경험이였어요.

외국에서 온사람들에게는 중간사이즈 수건만 있는것이 좀 불편할수 있지만, 이것은 한국인에게는 일반적인 사이즈입니다. 그렇게 불편하지는 않았습니다. 이것 또한 한국여행의 재미라고 생각했어요.

ㅎㅎ너무 귀엽고 포근한 숙소였어요! 군데군데 놓여있는 작은 오브제나 적어두신 쪽지 같은것들 읽어보는 재미가 쏠쏠했어요. 정성들여서 꾸며두신게 티가 나더라구요. 일단 숙소에 올때 서울역에서 가까워서 택시타고 금방 도착했어요. 위치가 너무 좋아요. 저녁에 주변 이태원이랑 해방촌도 구경가고 서울 중심쪽이라 명동, ddp가기에 너무 편했어요. 전반적으로 청결하고 쾌적해서 아주 잠도 푹 잘잤고, 오랜만에 친구랑 둘다 만족하는 숙소여서 다음에 서울에 올때 또 방문하려고 해요. 잘묵고 갑니다 lita님, 감사합니다!!!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Lita's place! The location is excellent, right next to the beautiful Namsan Tower. ​The house was clean and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. Lita is an incredible host: super responsive, kind, and always available. We absolutely loved the adorable and helpful post-it notes with instructions she left all around the house! ​Overall, a solid 9/10 experience! Thank you so much for your warm hospitality, Lita! 💛

​As a helpful heads-up for future guests: -Because of this prime location, the street is uphill, so we highly recommend taking a quick taxi from the station when arriving with heavy luggage. -The spaces are a bit compact for 4 people, which we hadn't fully grasped from the pictures. Since there are no wardrobes, space can be tight if you are traveling with large checked suitcases. The bathroom is also on the smaller side and features a typical Korean wet-room style without a shower tray. However, this is very common in Korea and was perfectly manageable for us.

It was big enough for 3 people but definitely don’t think 5 adults would have been comfortable (which was what our original booking had been for) if the two other adults had come, we would have been in trouble. The location was a 15 minute walk to Seoul station and about 15 minutes to Seoul tower. Were thoughtful about all the items that travelers may need.

It is a basement property, which I didn’t realize when I booked. No windows that you could actually open and get fresh air from. The bathroom is very old and there’s a smell (sewage?) generally in the area. I think it may be a spring rain thing but yeah, not pleasant. The dining area is very cramped and you have to watch your head against the cupboards.
