Atmospheric little apartment

Perfectly located at the end of our 4 day trek in a pretty alpine village. Vivianne was extremely helpful and responsive. Comfortable beds and all the facilities you'd need for a short stay. Great to have a washing machine. If we were there in winter, the wood-burning stove would be gorgeous! Atmospheric little spot.

Restorative!

Loved the coziness of the place. There were just my wife and I, but there were two extra rooms. The living room area would be tight if you had a total of five people, though it would be easy enough to spread out between the dining room table and the couch. For a couple - or a couple with two children, would work perfectlyl. Loved that there was a fireplace, though it wasn't cold enough for us to use it.

Great location - very close to Cervinia ski town. The host was kind and very helpful. The lodge is located on a hill and some of the rooms have a nice view. Wifi is good

The family apartment (for 5 people) is rather old-fashioned and has no view at all even though the room description indicates a lake view and mountain view. The water pressure in the shower is very poor.

Overall, this was a cute and convenient house.

We enjoyed staying at the Maison Gorret. It had a nice common area that we were able to hang out in and cook dinners and breakfasts together. The location was convenient and the town of Valtournenche is cute. The house is located on the main street about a 3 minute walk from a small market and Ski/Snowboard shop. We also walked to the community pool that has a small "wellness center" with Turkish baths, saunas and a whirlpool. It was easy to get to and from the mountain if you have a car. There is also a free ski bus that connects Cervinia and Valtournenche and stops near the house that we took one day. Vivian, the host, lives nearby and was able to help us when we needed it!

The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking pans and appliances but was missing basic pantry items that vacation rentals usually have, such as salt, pepper, paper towels, oil, etc.

Bel soggiorno e location pulita e ordinata, meglio per famiglia con bambini che per 4 adulti.

Struttura pulita, parcheggio e spazio in abbondanza per sci, vestiti e attrezzature.

Il divanoletto è veramente scomodo, va bene magari per 2 bambini che pesano poco o una copia leggera.

Bel weekend relax

La casa è molto carina, in stile montano e con un bel giardino intorno. In 4 ci siamo stati molto bene ma volendo ci starebbero anche 5 persone. Anche la posizione è ottima: un pochino fuori paese e quindi molto tranquilla ma a pochi passi da ogni comodità e negozio. Bello il panorama sulle montagne e sul lago di Maen. Gentile la proprietaria che ci ha dato indicazioni per passeggiate nei dintorni.

L'unica pecca è che in bagno manca il bidet e la doccia è all'interno di una vasca da bagno e questo può essere pericoloso perché è facile scivolare. Il periodo che abbiamo scelto non è il massimo perché ristoranti e negozi sono quasi tutti chiusi a maggio e giugno, ma abbiamo trovato comunque in paio di posti dove abbiamo mangiato bene.

L'appartamento è veramente spazioso e arredato benissimo. Presente tutto il necessario per essere totalmente indipendenti. Parcheggio riservato, giardinetto disponibile e privacy. Vista lago da ammirare dal patio. Host super disponibile e reattivissima!
