Siranuysh and her niece were great hosts. They were very welcoming. The room was lovely looking towards the village. The dinner (which cost extra) was very tasty and they were able accommodate my vegetarian dietary requirements. The bathroom facilities were good and the hot water flowed. There is a lovely garden in the property and an outdoor sitting and dining area. The village is small and the church is grand and I felt I was being welcomed into a familial setting in Armenia but without being suffocating. I strongly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to get into the deep Armenian countryside. Oh, and breakfast, superb! I’ll be back.
It was a little difficult to find but the villagers were very helpful. Siranuysh’s niece told me that they are going to erect directional signs in the village soon, so this won’t be a problem.
