A lovely stay. Great location but relax on the rules a little.

It was very clean and there were some lovely touches like a rose/bottle of Prosecco and some things for the dog on arrival.

With the main living only being in one room to say that a dog can’t go on the furniture is near enough impossible. It was sold as a dog friendly place and we paid £20 extra for the dog. We suggest that they leave blankets to put on sofas to protect them rather than imposing a challenging rule that they have to stay on the floor. It made the stay less relaxed. As there is no oven, a bigger air fryer is needed and a normal sized kettle. The kettle there could only make one cup at a time.

Relaxing in a stunning property

Stayed here 31st October till 2nd November with my wife and french bulldog,the property is gorgeous with everything you need for a lovely weekend away,the attention to detail was 10/10 with things that you dont even get in a 5star hotel,even a little doggy basket was there on the dog bed when we arrived,the owner jo was lovely and we will be returning again..

What an amazing experience for our stay!

What an amazing stay at The Outside Inn! We booked our stay for our wedding weekend and the owners went out their way to make so perfect and special. They kindly decorated our chalet, provided us with refreshments and wished us well. The views were absolutely outstanding for our photos over looking Wirksworth. Super spacious and clean. Will definitely be returning!!

Very organised and clean property. Smelt amazing in there, really nice environment, the location is stunning. Dog friendly, really nice little goodies for the dogs and us.

Lovely ; gorgeous lodge with stunning view. Secure for our puppy and high standards of cleanliness.

Exceptionally clean. Lots of thought gone into the facilities provided. Induction hob ; air fryer ; coffee machine as well as a kettle and toaster. Brilliant hairdryer and little touches like coffee ; tea ; fresh milk and a bottle of Prosecco left for my partner for his birthday.

A perfect weekend in an amazing lodge in a beautiful location. Purfic!

The lodge provided, in spades, all that one could want for a couple staying - with dog! Attention to those little details was amazing. Great hosts too; extending even to first aid! Will definitely try and return. Beautiful locartion too close to beautiful places and scenery. Fab for dog walks.

Beautiful Lodge stay ❤️

I loved everything about this place! It is in such a beautiful location overlooking the peak district, with the best sunsets! The hosts Jo and Paul are very welcoming and helpful, very quick response times! The Lodge I stayed in was dog friendly, it was so clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. It is a 15 minute drive to Carsington water and there are pubs/shops nearby. It is easy to get to other areas of the peak district. I'd go as far to say it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! I'll definitely be returning and friends and family are coming next time!
