Apartman Rio

The apartment is spacious, modern and clean. Having access to a washing machine was a bonus. The bed was very comfortable and the location is really great and central.

Had to request more toilet paper as only a quarter of a roll supplied for a three day stay. This has been mentioned in other reviews also and just should not be something that needs to be requested. (More was dropped off when requested but not until the day after) A toaster would be handy. A lot of effort has gone into the aesthetics of the apartment but more consideration of what one actually needs, such as extra cutlery and crockery, could be improved. Despite there being a dishwasher, we had to handwashing everything because of the limited dishes available. Car parking, though free, is a long way away and cars are not permitted in the old town which means lugging heavy suitcases a long way uphill.

Location was superb.

The stairs. Very steep, two flights. Dangerous for young chikdren and not at all for ekderly orcdisabled.

Location, clean and mostly quiet.

More towels. We were only given 2 towels to shower and one was on the small side. No towels were given for the floor or to dry your hands.

The place is beautifully furnished. Loved the decor and very modern. The location is excellent as well. Washing machine was very helpful. I felt very comfortable in the apartment. The host was great in allowing luggage storage as I arrived early. Things to keep in mind: - there are two flights of very steep stairs up get up to the apartment. - the address given on google maps is wrong. Once you get on the street, look for number 13 and brown door. - there's no shampoo, shower gel, laundry detergent and only one roll of toilet paper provided. You'll need to buy extra supplies

Communication could have been a bit better in terms of giving advance notice of check in procedures, or what the actual apartment entrance looks like. Also provide information to guests about wifi, or any recommendations for the local area.
