Opening the shutters in the morning was sublime. Perfecto! Dreamy. Very quiet. Soak in tub after many steps restorative.

Host met offered to pick up at train station which was a great because it's very steep and not intuitive to navigate. I appreciated it so much that I paid a reasonable fee for a ride back during departure. Host was always communicative and helpful when I had questions. He even proactively checked in if it had been a couple days. Comfortable mattress, beautiful view, spacious rooms. I had not realized it would be shared living spaces but found I enjoyed meeting other travelers.
Internet was occasionally spotty (weather related) and then ran out of its monthly allowance mid-stay, so there was none available at the property for my last 36 hours. Host offered use of internet at a nearby property (a BnB he also manages). I chose to see the outage as a sign to step away from work, so am unable to report on the other property.
