The room had no view or TV, and the owner refused a refund when we left after three nights.

The double room unit was spacious.

The room we were given was located far from the restaurant and required going down a few steps. The unit had no views at all and was surrounded by fences. There was also no TV in the room. The photos on Booking.com were misleading, as they gave the impression that the unit had a nice mountain view. We decided to leave early after three nights, but the owner refused to refund our money.

The best place to stay in Sidemen!

This property is absolutely stunning! The villa itself is so so gorgeous, but the view from the patio makes it even better. The villa has everything you need; a beautiful bedroom (2 actually), kitchen, patio with amazing view, a restaurant with good food, and really friendly and helpful staff! The ambiance in the resort is so peaceful. I just felt safe and sound from the moment I arrived. Also the pool is like an infinity pool where you overlook the views of sidemen. I absolutely loved everything about it. 10000/10 recommend!

The staff were so warm and welcoming, we felt very cared for. The location was so peaceful and idyllic. So different from the hustle and bustle of other places in Bali.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The accomodation was really special and finished to a high standard. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. They went over and above to ensure we were comfortable and also respected privacy. The pool is clean and fresh salt water, the views are exceptional. We were a family with 3 children aged 8, 10 and 11 years. The hygiene standard were excellent, we highly recommend dining in the restaurant. Best meals I had in Bali and we were away for a month. Highly recommend visiting the waterfall too.

Was promised luxury but received a dangerous construction site

The location. Pity we were barely able to occupy the villa for our stay due to construction and privacy concerns.

This property had apparently only been open a few days and was clearly not ready to be operational. Multiple labourers were on site still building and using loud saws every day of our stay. Our villa itself had large blinds being fitted without consent for a whole day, with unsupervised labourer sitting and smoking on and around the deck of our villa. The main swimming pool had 2 men constructing a deck with circular saws very loudly and dangerously right next to where children and families were meant to be relaxing or swimming. Rocks and soil were constantly delivered and moved around blocking our entrance and parking of vehicles, we were almost hit in the face by timber being carried on 2 occasions. Privacy was another concern, as no windows of the villa were able to be opened without the direct view of construction workers. No discount was offered, no staff supervision was being made on the property during construction daytime hours. Felt like we were being tricked into a greedy cashgrab for a property that was clearly several weeks away from being ready for operation.

A peaceful, quality getaway that met, and sometimes exceeded, our expectations.

A beautiful find. The property didn’t have any reviews, but the location on the map looked perfect and the photos looked terrific so I took a chance and booked it. So glad I did! It turns out the property is brand-new and the villas are pristine. So much outdoor space to hang out on a couch with friends and the pool space is lovely. Its in-house restaurant is good and the villas are located near many of the best restaurants and cafes in the area. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything about this place was a high standard. My only regret was not have enough time to cook using the outdoor induction cooktops, and having a log bath in my freestanding tub. Highly recommended.

The villas are right next to each other so you might hear you neighbours a bit. And it took a while to find the outdoor light switches, which were hidden behind the kettle and microwave.

Auf unserer zweiwöchigen Bali Rundreise mit fünf Unterkünften war das mit die schönste. Es wirkte, als ob vor uns noch niemand die Zimmer bewohnt hat. Alles war super sauber und gepflegt. Man hatte einen riesigen Freibereich mit einer gemütlichen Couch und hochmodernen Küchengeräten. Das Hotel Personal war stets zuvorkommend und bemüht. Von der Unterkunft konnte man direkt zu Wandertouren durch die Reisfelder aufbrechen, es gibt diverse kleine, nette Cafés und Restaurants, die man zu Fuß erreichen konnte.

Zeer teleurstellend.

SIdemen zelf is echt schitterend.

Ons verblijf hier was zeer teleurstellend. Bij aankomst kregen we zonder enige uitleg een andere kamer dan de kamer die wij expliciet hadden geboekt. Deze kamer was zeer ongeschikt en onveilig voor kleine kinderen (baby die net kruipt), waardoor deze voor ons geen optie was. Het personeel gaf aan dat je helemaal geen kamer kunt kiezen en dat toewijzing gebeurt op basis van beschikbaarheid. Nadat wij de specifieke kamerboeking op Booking.com lieten zien, werd verteld dat deze kamer “per ongeluk dubbel was geboekt” en al bezet zou zijn. Dit bleek niet te kloppen: de kamer was leeg, de gasten zouden “onderweg” zijn. Een vaag en ongeloofwaardig verhaal. Uiteindelijk kwam de waarheid naar boven: de kamer was zogenaamd “geboekt” door een aandeelhouder, die voorrang kreeg. Wij konden na een lange reis, in de regen en met een baby, kiezen tussen annuleren (met alle onzekerheid van dien) of de situatie maar accepteren. Dat voelt niet gastvrij en zeker niet professioneel. Daarnaast: - Lekkage in de badkamer na hevige regen (wel snel verholpen). - Internet werkte een ochtend niet. We kregen een appje met “maintenance”, waardoor werken onmogelijk was. Nabijgelegen resort had wel internet. Ja, de accommodatie is mooi. Maar dat geldt voor vrijwel alle accommodaties in Sidemen. Reis je met een gezin met jonge kinderen? Ga hier absoluut niet heen. Reis je zonder gezin, maar heb je geen zin in gedoe en onbetrouwbare afspraken? Dan ook niet. Als dit soort zaken je niet uitmaakt, ook dan, lekker een andere plek kiezen.

Absolut lohnenswert!

Sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, Personal freundlich und bemüht und die Location ist ruhig und trotzdem zentral. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns ein bisschen geärgert nur zwei Nächte gebucht zu haben. Wir kommen wieder!

Der Parkplatz kann gerade für Fahranfänger herausfordernd sein.

La mejor opción en la zona

El alojamiento era fantástico. Una suite con dos habitaciones y estuvimos muy bien dos parejas. Muy bien acondicionada y confortable. El servicio de restaurante fue muy bueno y de calidad. Todas comidas que efectuamos estuvieron muy bien. Cuenta con una piscina amplia, muy limpia, bien ubicada y con buenas vistas. Una opción inmejorable en la zona.

De très belles prestations dans un lieu magnifique

La villa est magnifique, spacieuse et très agréable à vivre. le personnel est à l’écoute. la literie confortable. L’emplacement est bien aussi, les activités (rizières et cascades) sont faciles d’accès.

L’eau chaude … nous n’avons eu qu’une douche chaude sur 3 jours.

Gyönyörű apartman Sidemen környékén

Csodaszép apartman Sidemen szálloda utcájában. Gyönyörű nyitott nappali-konyha-étkező, ahonnan két külön hálószoba nyílik saját fürdőszobával. Szép, tiszta medence, nem túl forgalmas. A saját éttermükben nagyon finomak az ételek, a reggelit (amit az ár tartalmazott) is itt szolgálták fel, ami elég szegényes volt a szállás színvonalához képest. Extra költségért lehetett egyéb dolgokat kérni. A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész.

Sajnos nincs kilátás a gyönyörű környezetre, a rizsteraszokra. Érkezésünkkor egy egeret kellett az egyik fürdőszobánkban megfogni.

Wunderschöne Anlage - mit etwas Verbesserungspotenzial

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit sehr schönem Bad und unglaublichem, riesigem Aussenbereich mit Küche und Loungeecke. Leider war die Aussicht aufgrund von Bauarbeiten mit einem Sichtschutznetz verbaut und wir konnten nicht in die schönen Reisfelder blicken. Alles in allem wunderschöne Anlage.

Sehr kompliziertes Abrechnungssystem im Restaurant. Beim inkludierten Frühstück steht eine einfache Variante zur Verfügung, welche 120 K kostet. Wird etwas anderes bestellt, muss separat bezahlt werden. Cappuccino, Fruchtsaft usw. wird zusätzlich verrechnet. Auch weiss das Personal nicht so genau, was es verrechnen muss, wenn man anstelle des geplanten Frühstücks etwas anderes bestellt. Die Qualität des Essens war grundsätzlich sehr gut, die Menüs sahen einfach jeden Tag etwas anders aus. Die Portionen waren relativ klein und der Preis doch recht hoch. Schade, dass es vor Ort keine persönliche Reception mit Ansprechperson hat, sondern nur über whatsApp kommuniziert werden kann.
