Spacious 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathroom upper unit of our beautiful Queen Anne Victorian Cottage Duplex a block from San Antonio Park. Features Victorian charm throughout and an abundance of natural light. The top unit that you will be living in was built in 1900 as a cottage and features a lot of original Queen Anne Victorian character and features, like the bay windows, high ceilings, ceiling medallions, pocket doors, door and window trim, door hardware and a stained glass window.
The main floor features two of the bedrooms connected with a jack and jill bathroom. A full bathroom is located towards the back of the home. Upstairs, the attic bedroom has its own private bathroom and an in wall AC unit. Each bedroom is set up with a queen size bed. This 3 bed/2.5 bath unit is the top two floors in this three-story Victorian duplex. This unit also includes access to a private backyard and two off-street parking spots on the right side of the driveway. The property has 2 separate units with the lower unit rented out to a long-term family, no internal spaces are shared. The front yard and driveway are shared on this property. About the Area: Our Victorian home is a block away from San Antonio Park, which is why we refer to our home as the San Antonio Victorian. The home is on the bustling street of Foothill Blvd, and there is a corner marker nearby, as well as plenty of delicious restaurants and food trucks within walking distance. The park has tennis courts, a soccer field, a basketball court, a children's playground and walking paths. Transportation Highlights: For added convenience, a bus stop for the 40 line to Downtown Oakland is located right outside the front gate. This house is a 15 min bike ride away from Lake Merritt BART Station, with rentable bikes (Bay Wheels) a block away from the property along San Antonio Park.
