Discover your own slice of paradise at Waiwhare on the Beach, a fully fenced, two-storey traditional Kiwi bach in a quiet, sheltered corner of Castlepoint. With private beach access right from the front lawn, you can step straight onto the sand and soak in uninterrupted ocean views – no roads to cross, no crowds, just the beach at your doorstep.
Perfect for families and pet owners, the property is fully fenced, offering a safe, secure space for children and dogs to roam. Enjoy the sheltered deck for BBQs and lazy afternoons, or cosy up indoors with a fire after a day of adventure.
We have just added a new 55" Smart TV with an integrated sound system that connects into the houses Wi-Fi, so your TV and music needs are catered for! There is a brand-new Nespresso capsule coffee machine in the kitchen. There's usually a few capsules beside it, but if you're a serious coffee lover please bring your own.
Linen can be supplied for a fee (please enquire).
This is a true coastal haven – peaceful, spacious, and just minutes from iconic Castlepoint walks, the lighthouse, and the local store. You’re also a short drive from the 9-hole Castlepoint Golf Course, and can enjoy a classic Kiwi meal or cold drink at the Whakataki Hotel, the friendly local pub just down the road.

Just minutes from some of the Wairarapa’s best fishing and diving spots, with connections to a local fishing charter available for guests. Various fishing and outdoor gear is also available for use during your stay.
