Escarpment Domes

We loved that the property was in a remote, peaceful location, offering complete privacy. The private walking track to the sculptures and lookout was a lovely touch, and the view from our room was absolutely spectacular. The fresh local milk and nitro-charged espresso were delicious and made for a unique experience we hadn't had anywhere else. The beds were very comfortable, and the extra hot water bottles kept us wonderfully warm. We also loved that it's so close to Wellington, yet feels like you've escaped to a completely different world. Also, soaking in the outdoor bath under the open sky was an incredible experience and a highlight of our stay.

We visited on a very windy day, and the entrance door tended to blow open if it wasn't closed firmly. It would be great if the door could be adjusted or fixed so it stays securely shut in strong winds. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

A truly stunning location and super-helpful staff. Spectacular views all the way to Mt Taranaki and Mt Ruapehu, peace and quiet and all in easy travelling distance. A fantastic place to decompress!

The view from the domes is priceless. Such a peaceful stay I have recommended this place to everyone I know. The outdoor bath is a must do on your stay even if the weather isn't the best.
