About this cabin rental
Log cabin at Vega Reservoir, amazing mountain and lake views from the cabin at just above 8,000 feet elevation in western Colorado. Enjoy fishing, hunting, boating, paddleboarding, mountain biking and kayaking. Winter activities include ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. Hundreds of miles of riding trails on the Grand Mesa National Forest for off-road vehicles. Open concept 3-level cabin with loft, main level and ground level sleeping areas. Sleeping available for 10 people. 3/4 bath. All bedding and towels provided. Kitchen includes refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, microwave, 4 burner electric stove top, Cuisinart grill/griddle, Keurig coffee maker, all glassware, flatware, dishes, cookware, etc. included. Deck with propane gas grill. Dartboard, games, and books for your enjoyment. TVs in loft and living room and projector and large screen on ground level. Plenty of parking and space for RVs and tents. Events are allowed with prior approval from hosts. We love our furry friends, but unfortunately no pets are allowed. Service animals with proper documentation are more than welcome.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin near Vega Reservoir! The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. We spent our days hunting and fishing in the beautiful surrounding area, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful — they made sure we had everything we needed and shared great local tips. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape!
