I would love to give this home a 5 star rating - it is absolutely lovely and very clean. It easily accommodated our extended family for the weekend and was close to all the hiking trails that we were interested in. I removed one star (would prefer it to be 1/2 star) because a washing machine delivery was scheduled for Saturday morning. A text was sent later Friday evening to let us know it would be delivered at 7:00 am. However, I did not see the text until after the delivery truck arrived at 7:00 am waking our family up who had arrived late Friday night. If it had been delivered anytime after 9:00, I wouldn't have cared, but to have our family weekend get- together interrupted at 7:00 am is inconsiderate. Both the host and the management company apoligized profusely.

Great home to stay in Grand Junction. Bear many outdoor activities and nice to be out of the hubbub of town. We stayed for a marching band event and it was perfect.

We appreciated the family/ kitchen open concept. The kitchen cleanliness was a bit concerning (dirty oven, stickiness in freezer and fridge, dirty under trash cans, no vent filters on oven hood, cabinet doors were grubby in spots). The bathrooms were clean, but when we stripped sheets off the beds we found the mattress covers were dirty( one had spots of blood).Lock Code did not work when we arrived and the Lock Box key did not fit the front door. Evolve representative sent another code that worked, but the next day that new code did not work. One couple missed an excursion with the group because we did not want to leave the door unlocked. A call to Evolve went to a message. The couple staying behind starting searching exit doors finally discovering the lock box key fit the human entryway door of the garage. The next day we received a new front door code. One last issue, there were not any kitchen dish towels when we arrived or hand towels and wash cloths in the bathrooms. When we called Evolve, the representative told us to look in the laundry room cupboards for kitchen towels. None found. We took it upon ourselves to equip each other’s bathrooms with what we could find under the sinks, that included toilet paper and Kleenex. No hand towels were found and no towels were delivered to the house during our stay.It is sad this lovely newer home has dings, doors that stick, and poor upkeep. We have had great success with renting from VIRBO several times before. Disappointing.
